Stepping into Hotel Carlton felt like entering a grand and elegant oasis in the heart of vibrant Bilbao. From the moment we arrived, the attentive and friendly staff made us feel like royalty, with special mentions to Sebastian the porter and Alfonso the Bell Hop man who went above and beyond to assist us. the hotel's Beaux Arts style architecture with its Moorish-influenced façade and glass dome exuded charm and history, perfectly complemented by the cozy English-style bar where we enjoyed delicious pintxos and cocktails. the breakfast buffet was a luxurious affair, complete with sparkling wine and aromatic sea salts, setting the tone for a day of exploration in the lively Old Town and beyond. Our spacious room offered breathtaking views of Federico Moyúa square, providing a serene retreat after a day of indulging in Basque cuisine at the elegant Artagan Restaurant. Hotel Carlton's central location made it convenient for us to explore the city's range of cultural and leisure activities, ensuring a memorable stay that we look forward to repeating on our next visit.
